The 2010 New York Auto Show is primed to be the most exciting and product-filled North American show so far this year, as the industry bootstraps itself out of the depths of 2008 and 2009. With nearly as many new cars, concepts and special editions as Detroit and Chicago combined, it's expected to deliver plenty for enthusiasts and shoppers to ogle.
According to organizers, this year’s event will include no less than 18 world premieres as well as an additional 14 North American debuts.
Aside from those major introductions to the press, the 2010 New York Auto Show traditionally plays host to more than a million visitors. Also, running once again for its seventh year is the World and Performance Car of the Year awards--an independent global accreditation to name the best new car on the market, as selected by a voter group composed of established automotive journalists from around the globe.
This week, High Gear Media brings you our full coverage of the New York Auto Show. We'll update this page as frequently as we receive new information. Starting today, we'll be bringing you all the news and photos and Tweets we can from the show floor.
